DESCRIPTION:Meadowbank P&C meetings are held 3rd Tuesday of each month during term at 7.30pm. Any parent/guardian can attend. \nP&C meetings are a great way to: \n\nget the inside story on what’s really happening in the school (not the gossip). The principal usually is available to answer questions and teachers sometimes attend too.\ninfluence school policy (want a healthy canteen menu? Join the canteen committee management)\nhave a say in the development of school activities such as excursions\, camps and curriculum.\nguide school management in its financial planning by helping prioritise the resource wish-list.\ncontribute to the school’s resources through various fundraising projects.\nmeet other parents.\n\nSchools have their own budgets —but invariably they need more than the budget allows. That’s where the parent committee becomes a valuable partner. \nHere at Meadowbank\, P&C run and manage the school canteen and uniform shop. \nFundraising is a powerful way in which to help your school get much-wanted additional resources—from extra library books to a shade cloth over a play area\, new canteen kitchen equipment\, playground resources etc. \nSchool fundraising can take many forms from product drives to special event stalls (for Mothers’ Day or Fathers’ Day\, for example) and social events—for students (like school discos)\, parents (such as comedy nights or wine tastings) and families (like trivia nights and BBQs). Parent committees are also the driving force behind big community events like fetes or carnivals.

DESCRIPTION:The Meadowbank Public School P&C Association is a not-for-profit Organisation which is established to promote the interests of the school by bringing parents\, citizens\, students and teaching staff into close co-operation and to assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school and in promoting the recreation and welfare of the students at the school. \nMembership of the Meadowbank Public School P&C Association is open to all parents and guardians of pupils attending the school and to all citizens. Meadowbank Public School P&C Association is always keen to welcome new members and particularly members who access or have an interest in the services provided by the P&C Association\, such as Canteen and Uniform Shop. \nMeetings are held every third Tuesday of each month. Meadowbank Public School P&C Association operates sub-committees where your contribution would be greatly appreciated.  Annual membership is $2 and entitles you to be involved in the decision making of Meadowbank Public School P&C Association. When you become a financial member you agree to follow the Constitution\, by-laws\, Code of Conduct and sub-committee rules as adopted by the Meadowbank Public School P&C Association\, copies of these materials are available from the Meadowbank Public School P&C Association Secretary at each meeting of  the P&C Association. You are recognised as a financial member of Meadowbank Public School P&C Association after the meeting closes at which you submit your payment. The Treasurer shall issue you a receipt for this payment\, you should retain the receipt for the current P&C Association year as proof of your membership.
