Highschool Itar (Year 7-10)

Assalamu alaykum wa Rahmutallah wa barakatuhu

Dear Year 7-10 Parents and Students of AIA,

We wholeheartedly invite your son or daughter to participate in the Iftar. It will be a great experience for students as they break their fast as on community. We will be holding the Iftar for students from Years 7 – 10 on Tuesday the 26th of March from 6.45pm to 8.00pm.

Students attending the Iftar are dismissed at 2pm as per Ramadan timetable, and are to return to school at 6:45 pm for the beginning of the iftar.

All students are to ensure that they dress in an Islamically appropriate manner and come to school with wudu ready to perform Salatul Maghrib.

Students will break their fast with water and dates upon the Athaan, followed by Maghreb prayer in congregation. The academy will be providing the meal, which will include a drink and dessert, at a cost of $20 per student.

Please note, Taraweeh prayers will be held in the school hall at 8.30pm. Students are welcome to stay back for this. Otherwise, please pick up your child promptly by 8.00pm.

Tickets can be purchased through the provided link by Wednesday 20th March 2024. Please note that online payments are the only accepted method for ticket purchases. As this is a catered event, number are required to place orders and no payments will be accepted after this date.
